The robotics competition took place on the 9th of November at 14.00 in Tallinn University of Technology.

During the past five weeks students of Tallinn University of Technology and University of Tartu have built robots that move along the track that has been marked on the competition polygon and pass the obstacles that are placed on the track. 

The robots use infrared sensors to distinguish the black contour lines that have been drawn on the white surface and touch sensors to avoid obstacles. The teams have built the body, the mechanics, and the electronics of the robots as well as the programme to control the robots and to read the sensors. 

There are 8 teams participating in the competition (5 from Tallinn University of Technology and 3 from University of Tartu). The team whose robot passes the obstacle track with the fastest time is the winner of the competition.
