The Task
This year’s task is similar to the act of cleaning a room with the goal of gathering all empty cans and socks and take them to certain gathering areas. This time the biggest challenge is to get the robots to orientate and to distinguish between different objects on the field. Read more about the rules here.
Participation
All interested persons and teams who have sufficient competence to build a robot in correspondence with the rules of the competition are welcomed to participate in Robotex 2008.
For the participants, the competition is free of charge. Accommodation for those who come from distant regions will be guaranteed at the cost of the organizers. You have to register for the competition before the 31st of October. After the 1st of September, it is possible to register online at the modified homepage.Until then, for additional information about the registration, contact: robotex.estonia(at)gmail.com*. Please notify the organizers of your entry as early as possible.
PS. This year the number of registered members per team is limited to five.
