Robot
competition

The task this year is "Football". Two robots
compete on one field at the same time and the aim is to score as many
goals as possible. A double elimination tournament
system is used. Further information about the rules and the task can be

Aims

The two main aims of Robotex 2009 are the
following: to arouse the interest of young people insubjects connected
with engineering and robotics and to make the current event even more
international. The first aim is promoted through a competition between
robots. In addition to this, we will create Estonia's first Wiki about
robotics. The event also includes interactive workshops, a drawing and
an essay contest. The event will become more international due to wide
public response after Robotex 2008, the interest of universities abroad,
and also due to previously made contacts. We will extend relations with
other clubs and organizations connected with robotics that are situated
abroad.
