About the robotics project:
Designing, building, and testing of the mechatronics system. Acquiring knowledge and skills through building of integrated and interdisciplinary systems (industrial and experimental systems or mobile robots) in a team. Designing of the mechanics and practical building of modern mechatronics systems, building of a control system that is based on a microcontroller, creating of a control algorithm and the programming of the controller according to the algorithm. Learning more about motors (DC and step-by-step motors) and the usage principles of sensors and their selection. Creating and testing of an operational integral system (in case of large-scale projects, the project only includes the designing of the system). As a result of the project, every team creates an operational mechatronics system, e.g. autonomous robot. The team will present their project at a public presentation. In case of mobile robot, the presentation will be conducted as a public robotics competition.
